Trang An is an eco-tourism destination located within the Trang An World Heritage Complex in Ninh Binh province, Vietnam. This area has been designated as a particularly significant national monument by the Vietnamese government and recognized by UNESCO as a dual World Heritage Site since 2014.

DETAILED ITINERARY

07:00 – 07:30: Pick-up at hotels in the Old Quarter and the Hanoi Opera House by bus and tour guide, then depart for Ninh Binh.
10:30: Arrive at Bai Dinh. The tour guide will take you to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, a famous pagoda with many records: The entire Bai Dinh Pagoda complex covers an area of 107 hectares, including the Tam The and Phap Chu shrines, which span thousands of square meters.

12:30: Return to the restaurant for lunch and rest.
13:30: Transfer to Trang An Wharf by bus, then take a boat to explore the Trang An Ecotourism Complex, where limestone cliffs, valleys, and winding rivers create a mystical and enchanting landscape.

Relax on the boat and visit 4 of the most beautiful natural caves in Trang An: Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, and the last one, Dai Cave.

You will also stop to visit spiritual sites such as Suoi Tien temple and Hanh Cung Vu Lam.

This route will be very suitable for those who like to take photos to check in. 

16:00: The next destination is Mua Cave. Visitors trek through winding paths covered with lush greenery and beautiful bonsai-like rock formations, then conquer the 500 stone steps to the summit of Mua Mountain.

From the top, you can see the vast land of Hoa Lu with its peaceful yet majestic scenery, resembling a watercolor painting that often stirs emotions.

On the way back, you will pass through the Lotus Pond area, nestled amidst limestone mountains, creating an extremely poetic and ancient scene. Visitors can rent traditional costumes for photoshoots here.

17:30: Return to Hanoi by bus.
