Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang

16:00: Daiichi Bus pick up guests at hotels around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, Noi Bai International Airport, and depart to My Dinh Bus Station for the sleeper bus journey to Ha Giang.

22:30: Arrival in Ha Giang, complimentary accommodation at Song Mien Homestay for rest (when using Daiichi’s Hanoi – Ha Giang bus service, guests will receive a free dorm room for one night.)

Day 2: Ha Giang – Dong Van (B/L/D)

06:30: Pick up the group for breakfast. Then, the group will depart to visit various attractions within the core area of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark.

We’ll visit and take photos at the following locations:

  • Bac Sum Slope: Capture photos and admire the scenery along the 8km-long slope.

  • Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, Fairy Twin Mountain – unique masterpieces of nature.
  • Stop for photos at the lonely Nghien Tree – Can Ty, Quan Ba.
  • Explore the Tho Cam Lung Tam weaving village: Learn about the H’mong people’s culture of weaving linen and experience the 41 stages involved in
  • creating the product. Guests are encouraged to wear traditional costumes for memorable photos.

Noon: The group will stop for lunch in Pho Cao – Dong Van.

13:30: Continue visiting some attractions on the tour itinerary:

  • Tham Ma Slope: A famous slope that tourists often mention when talking about Ha Giang.

  • Chin Khoanh Slope: From a high vantage point, the winding slope appears extremely majestic.

  • Vuong’s Mansion: Also known as the King of Hmong’s Mansion. The group will learn about the architectural art, history, and culture of the Vuong family (Hmong King’s family) specifically and of the Hmong people in the Dong Van Plateau in general.
  • Lung Cu Flagpole: The final destination of the day is Lung Cu Flagpole – the northernmost point of Vietnam.

19:00: Return to the Old Quarter of Dong Van, enjoy dinner at a restaurant featuring the famous specialty of black chicken hotpot. Guests are free to explore the Old Quarter and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 3: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Nho Que River – Hanoi (B/L/D)

07:00: Guests will have breakfast with the famous Bánh Cuốn Bà Hà in the Old Quarter of Dong Van, then begin the journey to explore the remaining destinations in the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark.

  • Dong Van Market (held every Sunday): The group will stroll through the Old Quarter of Dong Van, visit the ancient Dong Van Market – dating back hundreds of years, experiencing the unique culture of highland markets.
  • Ma Pi Leng Pass: Ma Pi Leng Pass is one of the “Four Great Passes” of the Northern region.

  • Boating on the Tu San Canyon – Nho Que River: The group will board boats and cruise on the Tu San Canyon – Nho Que River. A famous spot that every tourist wants to visit when coming to Ha Giang.

Noon: Lunch in Dong Van before departing back to Ha Giang. On the way back, we will visit the Lung Cam Cultural Village, which stands out with its picturesque scenery and peaceful atmosphere with ancient houses.

18:00: Return to Ha Giang city. Dinner at a restaurant. Afterwards, the tour guide will accompany the group to the sleeper bus departing for Hanoi. Guests will spend the night on the bus.

Day 4: Ha Giang – Hanoi – Ha Long – Hanoi

06:00: Guests return to the hotel. Rest and have breakfast.

09:00-09:30: The vehicle and tour guide will pick up guests at the Old Quarter hotel in Hanoi to depart for Halong Bay.

12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Port and board the ship.

12:15: The ship departs, beginning the cruise to explore Halong Bay, marveling at the breathtaking scenery and enjoying the most comfortable moments along with top-notch services on board.

12:30: Guests have lunch while admiring the mountain ranges and picturesque landscapes, a natural wonder amidst the vast land and sky.

13:45: Guests visit the Surprising Cave – one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. Then, the ship moves to Luon Cave, where guests can kayak/rowboat or stay on the ship (Those who do not use this service can remain on board).

Next, the ship will take guests to Ti Top Island. Guests can swim at Ti Top Beach with its white sandy beach or trek up Ti Top Mountain to enjoy the panoramic view of Halong Bay.

16:30: Return to the ship to depart back to Tuan Chau Port. Guests can listen to music and relax on the ship’s deck, immersing themselves in the nature of Halong Bay.

18:00: The ship docks, guests say goodbye to the ship and board the vehicle back to Hanoi.

20:00: Guests return to the hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi to rest.

Day 5: Ha Noi – Ninh Binh 

07:00 – 07:15: The vehicle and tour guide will pick up guests at the hotel, then depart for Ninh Binh.

10:45: Arrive in Ninh Binh, guests begin the program with a visit to the famous temples, the Dinh King Temple honoring King Dinh Tien Hoang, the founder of the Dinh dynasty – the first dynasty of Vietnam, and the Le King Temple honoring King Le Dai Hanh, the founder of the Early Le dynasty – the subsequent dynasty.

12:00: Guests take a rest and have lunch at a restaurant.

13:30: The vehicle takes guests to the center of the Trang An eco-tourism area, including visits to Hang Lam, Hang Vang, Hang Dai, Hang Thanh Truot caves, and three historical sites: Cao Son Holy Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, Vu Lam Royal Court where Tran dynasty kings are worshipped.

15:15: Guests continue to visit Mua Cave. Arrive at Mua Cave where guests explore the cave and climb to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain to admire the magnificent panoramic view of the mountains and valleys.
