TOUR ITINERARY
Night 0: Hanoi – Ha Giang
16:00: Daiichi Bus picks up guests at 96 Nguyen Huu Huan Street to depart for Ha Giang.
22:00: Arrival in Ha Giang, complimentary accommodation at Song Mien Homestay for rest (when using Daiichi’s Hanoi – Ha Giang bus service, guests will receive a free dorm room for one night.)
Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van
07:30: the tour guide welcomes the group for breakfast, marking the beginning of the 3-day, 2-night exploration journey of Ha Giang.
- First, you embark on conquering Bac Sum Pass: a 9km-long pass popular among adventurers. From its summit, winding roads unfold around the mountain slopes, offering a distant view of Northeast Vietnam’s majestic landscape.
- Transitioning to Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate: an ideal spot for photos and panoramic views of Tam Son town and the Fairy Mountain Range.
- Next, you visit Lanh Handmade Weaving Village Lùng Tám: a unique stop on the Daiichi tour to explore H’Mong weaving culture.
- Moving forward, you reach Can Ty Pass: where you can admire Ha Giang’s majestic mountains and check-in with the solitary Nghien tree.
12:30: Continuing through mountain passes, you arrive at Yen Minh for lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, the journey proceeds to various destinations.
- Tham Ma Pass: offers winding curves and legendary tales, while Chin Khoanh Pass presents breathtaking views of village life below.
- King’s House Relic: once the ancient H’Mong capital, holds numerous feng shui legends.
- Transitioning to Lung Cu National Flagpole: a sacred symbol of sovereignty, and Lo Lo Chai Village, an ancient settlement preserving its gong culture.
- The Northernmost Point: where the Nho Que River begins its journey through Vietnam.
Evening: Rest at Dong Van. After dinner, you are free to enjoy the nightlife in Dong Van Ancient Town, where there are many nighttime activities: campfire, massage, etc.
Day 2: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Du Gia
07:30: Enjoy breakfast with the famous Bánh Cuốn Bà Hà in Dong Van, then start the journey to explore Dong Van to Du Gia. Your stops include:
- Dong Van Market: Stroll through Dong Van Old Quarter, Dong Van Old Market – With a history of hundreds of years, visit Dong Van Market to learn about the highland market culture (if visiting on weekends).
- Thien Huong Ancient Village: A ancient village in Dong Van still retains the ancient wall houses of the H’Mong people.
- Ma Pi Leng Pass: One of the “Four Great Passes of the North”. From the top, you can see the emerald green Nho Que River winding around.
- Boat trip on Tu San Gorge – Nho Que River: The group gets on the boat and travels on Tu San Gorge. Visit the deepest limestone gorge in Southeast Asia “Tu San Gorge”.
Noon: Have lunch at Tu San Gorge with a million-dollar view. You can also take photos at this location.
Afternoon: After resting and dining, the tour guide will lead the group back to Du Gia. This route is quite long, and you will make stops at some points such as:
- M-shaped Turn: One of the impressive and beautiful turns of Ha Giang.
- Duong Thuong: Ancient fortifications located on high land like a turtle shell in the middle of the Duong Thuong valley.
- Du Gia: a small peaceful village nestled in the valley, where you can experience waterfall bathing, cool, pure waterfalls pouring down from above.
Evening: Have dinner and rest at Du Gia homestay. Cultural exchange with local people here.
Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong – Lung Tam – Ha Giang – Hanoi
Morning: Have breakfast at the homestay, then start the journey to explore the remaining destinations of the tour:
- Swim at Du Gia Waterfall.
- Du Gia Market (Lung Ho): If you visit on weekends, you can explore the highland market culture of Du Gia.
Noon: Return to Duong Thuong for lunch and travel through Thái An Pass back to Ha Giang City.
18:00: Return to Ha Giang City. Dinner at Song Mien Travel Restaurant.
